Solar Synth! It kinda works but not as much as I'd expected.
I started off using a 555 timer with a photoresistor. It worked pretty well until I have two 555 timer chips and try to combine them. It seems like they are affecting each other in frequency. So after a few failures, I decided to use Daisy! A board that I own for a long time yet never tried it...
The code is relatively simple. It just read 9 photoresistors and turn on and off notes in different pitches.
I fabricated the solar synth with acrylics and it turned out pretty good. Will add more videos and photos to document it.
