This project happened to be related to my Connected Devices project (or planned? haha)
Basically, I made this device that will let you know when the surrounding is over 80dB, which is the harmful level to human ears.
I brought this device to Philadelphia and in NYC and got some interesting results. It seems that I'm mostly ignorant of the noise level while I'm in a car. The level constantly went above 80 dB without me noticing, in contrast to the noises in the subway that are more obvious when perceived by me.
I will finalize the device to get some more readings for this project.
